About these terms
These terms of use apply to your use of the journeyskind.co.uk website. By using the website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site — you are very welcome to telephone us instead.
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows when they were last reviewed. The version published here at the time you use the site is the version that applies.

This website provides general information only
This website exists to give general information about Journeys Kind Care and Support Limited: who we are, the areas we plan to cover, the support we intend to provide, how we pay our care team, where we are with registration, and how to get in touch with us.
It is not a substitute for a conversation about your particular circumstances. Nothing on this website constitutes professional advice of any kind, and nothing on it should be relied on as advice about what any individual person needs. Whether we can help you, and what that help would look like, can only be established by talking to you and carrying out an assessment.
Information on this website is not medical advice
Nothing on this website — including the pages describing the support we plan to offer, the questions and answers, and anything said by the automated assistant in the live chat — is medical, clinical, nursing, pharmaceutical, legal or financial advice.
We do not diagnose, treat or give guidance on medical conditions, medication, wounds, falls, mental health crises or any other clinical matter through this website. If you have a health concern, please speak to a GP, pharmacist, nurse or other qualified health professional.
Emergencies and urgent advice
In an emergency, or if someone is at immediate risk of harm, call 999 straight away.
For urgent health advice that is not an emergency, call NHS 111 or use the NHS 111 online service.
For an urgent concern that an adult at risk or a child is being harmed, contact the safeguarding team at the relevant local council, or the police.
This website is not an emergency service. Our forms, our email inbox and our live chat are not monitored around the clock, and no message you send through this website should be relied on to summon urgent help.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a care contract
Sending us an enquiry, a referral, an assessment request, a callback request or a job enquiry through this website is exactly that: an enquiry. It does not create any contract between you and Journeys Kind Care and Support Limited, and it does not oblige either of us to anything.
Any care and support we provide will always be subject to:
- an assessment of the needs, wishes, outcomes and risks involved;
- our capacity and availability in the relevant area at the relevant times;
- Care Inspectorate Wales registration having been granted for the regulated service concerned;
- a written, person-centred care and support plan agreed with the person receiving support;
- a written quote and a formal written agreement, signed before support begins.
Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and we do not guarantee that we will be able to take on any particular enquiry. Similarly, a careers enquiry is not an application for a specific vacancy and does not amount to any offer of work, interview, start date or rate of pay. All roles are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, satisfactory references and registration with Social Care Wales.
Our regulatory status
Registration with Care Inspectorate Wales is in progress. Regulated domiciliary support will begin once registration is granted.
Nothing on this website should be read as suggesting that Journeys Kind Care and Support Limited is already registered with Care Inspectorate Wales, or that it is currently delivering regulated domiciliary care. Where the website describes services, it is describing what we intend to provide once registration is granted. Company number 17355325 is a Companies House number and is not a care service registration number. Our registration number and inspection reports will be published on this website when they are issued.
Accuracy and changes to content
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, particularly where it concerns our registration status, the areas we cover and the support we intend to provide.
Even so, content may be updated, corrected, added to or removed at any time and without notice, and information may become out of date between our reviews. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. If something here looks wrong, or contradicts what we have told you directly, please contact us and we will confirm the position and put the page right.
Using this website properly
You may read, print and share the content of this website for your own personal use, or to help someone you are supporting. You must not:
- use the website or our forms unlawfully, fraudulently or for any harmful purpose;
- submit false information, or someone else’s personal information where you have no proper basis for doing so;
- use our forms, email address or live chat to send spam, abuse or unsolicited marketing;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its hosting or any connected system, or introduce anything malicious;
- copy, scrape, republish or reuse our content or branding commercially without our written permission;
- interfere with the operation of the website or with other people’s use of it.
We may restrict access to the website where we reasonably believe it is being misused.
Links to other websites
Where this website links to another organisation’s website — for example the Living Wage Foundation, Care Inspectorate Wales, Social Care Wales, the NHS or the Information Commissioner’s Office — those websites are not under our control. We include such links because we think they are useful, but that is not an endorsement of their content, their services or their privacy and cookie practices, and we are not responsible for them. Please review the terms and privacy information of any website you visit through a link from ours.
Website content and branding are protected
Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website — including the text, page design, layout, photographs, illustrations, icons and the Journeys Kind name and logo — is owned by or licensed to Journeys Kind Care and Support Limited and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property rights.
The Living Wage Employer mark is used with the permission of, and remains the property of, the Living Wage Foundation. Other names, marks and logos appearing on the website belong to their respective owners.
You may not use our name, logo or branding in a way that suggests an association with, endorsement by, or approval from Journeys Kind Care and Support Limited when none exists.
Live chat and the automated assistant
The live chat on this website is answered by automated software, not by a care professional. It is provided to help with general questions and it may be unavailable, incomplete or wrong. Its replies are not advice and are not binding on us — where anything it says conflicts with these terms or with the written information on the website, the written information and these terms take precedence.
Please do not enter medical details, financial information, dates of birth or full addresses into the chat. Anything important should be confirmed with us directly by telephone, email or in person. Our Privacy Notice explains how live chat messages and callback requests are handled.
Our responsibility to you
We provide this website in good faith and take reasonable care over its content. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or anything on it, including any decision taken on the basis of website content rather than on the basis of an assessment and a written agreement with us.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other consumer protection law, or the duties that will apply to us as a registered care service once registration is granted.
Privacy and cookies
How we use the personal information you send us through this website is explained in our Privacy Notice. What this website stores on your device, and what it does not, is explained in our Cookie Policy. Our commitment to keeping the site usable, and how to report a problem, is set out in our Accessibility Statement.
Governing law
These terms of use, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of this website, are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, save that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
